About
What's in my super? shows which ASX-listed companies Australian super funds own, using the holdings files funds must publish.
Where the data comes from
Since March 2022 every super trustee must publish the holdings of each investment option twice a year: as at 31 December (published by 31 March) and as at 30 June (published by 30 September). This is called Portfolio Holdings Disclosure. There is no central copy. Each fund posts its own files, in its own format (CSV, Excel, PDF or a web table), and replaces them each half-year.
We download each fund's files, keep them exactly as published, and turn them into one consistent table. Older periods that funds no longer host are recovered from the Internet Archive where it holds a copy.
Periods collected: 31 December 2021, 30 June 2022, 31 December 2022, 30 June 2023, 31 December 2023, 30 June 2024, 31 December 2024, 30 June 2025, 31 December 2025, 30 June 2026.

How we count
- One option per fund. Funds offer many investment options that often share the same underlying pools, so adding options together would count the same shares several times. We use each fund's headline option, usually its default MySuper option, and show its largest option as a cross-check.
- Matching to ASX codes. Funds identify holdings by ISIN, SEDOL, ticker or name. We match ISINs to the ASX's own ISIN list, SEDOLs through the free OpenFIGI service, tickers to the ASX list of listed companies, and exact company names as a last resort. Near-miss names are reviewed by hand, never matched automatically.
- Overseas companies. Funds identify overseas holdings by ISIN, SEDOL, ticker, FIGI or only by name. We group them into companies across funds and dates using shared identifiers, the free OpenFIGI service and cleaned company names, and check that each identifier's name agrees across funds (some files attach a code to the wrong company when two share a ticker). A company's country is where it is based, from its ISIN or home listing, so TSMC is Taiwanese even when held as a US depositary receipt.
- Themes (AI, fossil fuels, Israel, gambling, tobacco and others) are lists of named companies, shown in full on each theme page. They are a judgement about a company's main business, not a rating.
- Share splits. When every fund's share count jumps by the same ratio as the price falls between two disclosures (Nvidia's 10-for-1 in 2024), earlier counts are scaled before measuring buying and selling.
- Changes are in shares, not dollars. A fund holding the same shares through a price fall has not sold. Buys and sells are the change in shares held, valued at the latest price.
- Share of register is shares held divided by shares on issue, from the ASX company data feed on the date we fetch it, not the disclosure date. It is approximate.
- Checks. A fund is published only when the listed shares we parse add up to within 1% of the fund's own total in the file.
Limitations
- Data can be 3 to 9 months old by the time it is read.
- Shares held through external managers' pooled funds may be shown only as the manager's name, not as individual stocks. Coverage notes on each fund page say how much is affected.
- The disclosure rules do not require funds to say whether listed shares are managed internally or by external managers, so internal management figures cover fixed income and unlisted assets only.
- Funds not yet covered: none.
Update schedule
New files are checked in early April (31 December data) and early October (30 June data), and pages are rebuilt once each fund's file reconciles.
Not advice
This site is general information only. It is not financial product advice and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Holdings are shown as disclosed by each fund; errors in a fund's file will appear here. Check your fund's own disclosure and consider seeking advice before making any decision.
